Linum dried flowers or dried flax in different colors. Beautiful, full bunches of dried linum or flax. Nice little balls in different colors.

Flax (Linum usitatissimum) is a plant of the flax family (Linaceae). It is a crop that has been cultivated for a long time. There are blue-flowered and white-flowered varieties. In addition, there are variants with brown seeds and variants with yellow seeds. Flax is sown between mid-March and mid-April. The golden yellow flax stems grow for 100 days. During the flowering period in June, the flax turns beautiful white, lilac or blue. Unfortunately, you can only enjoy this beautiful view for a short time because each flower only blooms for one day. The processing of flax into a usable product is a lengthy and laborious process. To make spinnable flax ribbon, the crop has to undergo quite a few operations: plucking, shedding, rotting, breaking or beating, scutching and beating.

Fortunately, none of that is necessary to make beautifully dried flax. In our dryers we provide beautiful dried flax and can then dye it in many fantastic colors. But even without dyeing, a natural flax dried flower is a beautiful eye-catcher.
