Dried Solidago or the Goldenrod dried flower is a very popular filler flower for florists and bouquet makers, but can also be used as a free-standing bouquet. It comes from the same family as Aster and was actually crossed to produce Solidaster, another softer but similar strain. Solidago is a perennial and is often considered a weed because it self-sows easily. It is loved by insects and has even been tested as a crop to produce a type of rubber. In fact, the first model T Ford used solidago rubber for the tires. Length of this dried Goldenrod is 30-40 cm.
